Held in Yantai, Shandong Province, this exhibition carried profound personal significance for Piyun Chu. Yantai is the ancestral hometown of her father, making the presentation both an artistic homecoming and a tribute to her family heritage. During the visit, she also met relatives from her father’s side of the family for the first time, deepening the exhibition’s connection to ancestry, memory, and belonging. Through traditional landscapes, floral studies, and expressive brushwork, the exhibition celebrated the continuation of Chinese artistic and family traditions across generations.
